The option available right beside the creation of invoices is for exporting the list for offline access.
This section keeps track of all the invoices created for different projects, displaying them neatly in a table. You’ll find important details like Invoice Number, Project Name, Client Name, Total Project Amount, Invoice Date, and Payment Status. You can also view a more detailed version, download, send it to the client, edit unpaid invoices, add payments, send payment links or reminders for unpaid invoices, create credit notes for paid ones, and delete the most recent invoice (only the latest invoice can be deleted).
At the top of the table, you’ll find three handy options: Create Invoice, Recurring Invoice, and Log-Time Invoice.
Standard Invoice
This option offers a pre-made form where you just need to fill in a few details to create an invoice easily. You’ll need to provide information like the invoice number, date, due date, currency, client details, project information, tax details, billing details, and a note for the recipient. Once you’ve filled everything out, you can either save the invoice as a draft or send it directly to the client, depending on your choice.
Recurring Invoice
This section holds the invoice which is to be paid in divisions or even those which are to be repeated after a certain period. This allows automation of the invoice generation and reminder sending to the client at the time of their scheduled payments.
Using the "Add Recurring Invoice" option on the top left corner, one can add invoices that must follow the recurring task. The pre-generated form requires information such as invoice date, due date, currency, client details, project details, billing frequency, billing cycle, shipping address, billing details with a few additional features. Once the desired recurring invoice is created it repeats itself as per the instructions given to it.
Time-Log Invoices
Time-Log Invoices are created based on the time that is logged in for the allotted tasks. When a new Invoice is created it requires the regular basic details including invoice number, project, client, invoice date, due date, currency, time log days slot, description, billing details, and the note for the recipient. These details can then be saved as an invoice.
If you want to view a created invoice, just click the 'INV#xxx' hyperlink. It will take you to a page with all the invoice details, including information about both parties, billing details, and any extra notes. You can download the invoice if needed, but it's always securely stored in the system’s database and accessible to both parties anytime.
