Overview: The Attendance Settings section allows you to configure employee attendance tracking, including office timings, clock-in/clock-out methods, shift management, and reporting. Customize settings to align with your organization’s policies and ensure accurate attendance records.

Employee Shifts: Define and manage shift timings and rotations.
Clock-In/Clock-Out Methods: Configure location-based, IP-based, or self-service clock-in/out.
Attendance Reports: Automate monthly attendance reports via email.
Flexibility: Allow shift change requests and clock-in outside shift hours.
Security: Restrict clock-in/out to specific locations or IP addresses.
1. Employee Shifts
Purpose: Define shift timings and manage shift rotations.
Features:
Shift Rotation: Automate shift changes for employees.
Shift Change Requests: Allow employees to request shift changes.
How to Set Up:
Navigate to Attendance Settings > Employee Shifts.
Add or edit shift timings and enable shift rotation if needed.
2. Clock-In/Clock-Out Methods
Purpose: Configure how employees record their attendance.
Options:
Self Clock-In/Out: Allow employees to manually clock in/out.
Location-Based: Restrict clock-in/out to specific GPS locations.
IP-Based: Restrict clock-in/out to specific IP addresses.
Auto Clock-In: Automatically clock in employees upon their first sign-in of the day.
How to Set Up:
Go to Attendance Settings > Clock-In/Clock-Out Methods.
Enable desired methods and configure restrictions (e.g., location radius, IP address).
3. Attendance Reminders and Reports
Purpose: Ensure employees are reminded to clock in/out and generate attendance reports.
Features:
Attendance Reminders: Send reminders to employees to record attendance.
Monthly Reports: Automatically email monthly attendance reports to admins.
How to Set Up:
Navigate to Attendance Settings > Reminders & Reports.
Enable reminders and configure report email recipients.
4. Working Days and Office Timings
Purpose: Define active working days and office hours.
Features:
Working Days: Specify which days of the week are considered working days (e.g., Monday to Friday).
Office Timings: Set start time, end time, and half-day leave timings.
Late Mark Time Limit: Define a grace period for late arrivals.
How to Set Up:
Go to Attendance Settings > Working Days & Timings.
Configure working days, office timings, and late mark limits.
5. Additional Settings
Allow Clock-In Outside Shift Hours: Enable employees to clock in outside their assigned shift hours.
Clock-In Check with Added Location Radius: Restrict clock-in to a specific radius from the office location.
Clock-In Check with Added IP Address: Restrict clock-in to specific IP addresses for added security.
Week Starts From: Define the start of the week (e.g., Monday).
